Ambow holds the Ambow Enterprise Learning Forum 2009

Ambow Education Group Chairman and CEO Dr. Huang Jin speaks at the Ambow Enterprise Learning Forum
On September 18, 2009, Ambow held the Ambow Enterprise Learning Forum 2009 in Beijing. This year’s main topic was “Enterprise education strategies during a recovering economy” and included speeches from such notable attendees as Ambow Education Group’s founder Dr. Huang Jin, the China Reform Foundation National Economic Research Institute’s Mr. Chang Fangang, and Skillsoft’s managing director of Asia Pacific Glenn Nott.
On the heels of rapid globalization has come increasingly fierce competition between enterprises. At the Ambow Enterprise Learning Forum 2009, China Reform Foundation National Economic Research Institute’s Mr. Chang Fangang explained that in the current economic climate, knowledge management has already gradually become a new trend in enterprise risk prevention. How to quickly strengthen an organization and forge a company that learns and adapts quickly have also become hot topics in the current competitive environment. Many local companies are already acutely aware of market information, and so have begun to devote themselves to enterprise education and development. So-called “post-crisis” enterprise education has become a way of lowering risk and is an important factor in a company’s development.
Economic Recovery: Chinese enterprises enter into a new era of competition
The 2008 global financial crisis created a widespread economic crisis that affected corporations all around the world, and the subsequent lack of financing made the markets relatively quiet. In 2009, despite the fact that the global crisis has not yet fully abated, the Chinese National Bureau of Statistics first half overall economic data already clearly show China and the slow recovery of the global economy will usher in a new round of competition in the market.
As one of the leaders in the enterprise education sector,       Ambow has done extensive research on enterprise learning strategies during the economic recovery. Ambow Education Group CEO Dr. Huang Jin explained that in today’s era of economic globalization, companies must rely on enterprise education to fuel innovation and to retain and strengthen competitive advantages. By creating an integrated platform linking career enhancement education and enterprises, Ambow has captured the talent education value chain, and created a valuable tool to show corporations how effective enterprise education can increase the value of their employees. Ambow proposes that corporations “Use Education to Reach Recovery”. In that spirit, the Ambow Enterprise Learning Forum 2009 was held.
At this year’s conference, famous e-learning company Skillsoft’s managing director of Asia Pacific Glen Nott, Plateau CTO Ed Cohen, China Reform Foundation National Economic Research Institute’s Mr. Chang Fangang, and many other economists, experts, and senior HR management from such companies as Guomei and Citic joined Ambow to discuss how to foster effective enterprise learning and how to provide education services during the recovery period.

Enterprise learning is not meant to just fulfill employees’ technical training requirements, but more importantly can improve the entire organization’s performance and operational strategy.
Ambow has developed specially designed integrated learning solutions and other new educational training models specifically to meet the requirements of different types of companies. In order to increase enterprises’ competitiveness in the new era of globalization, Ambow and the world’s leading online educational content provider Skillsoft have released online coursework to provide enterprises with leading management training modules and expert training content. A mutually beneficial future: successfully becoming the leader in the enterprise learning services market
After the crisis is over, and as corporate competition continues to increase, competition for top talent and enterprise learning ability will be key differentiating factors between companies. More and more domestic enterprises are focusing on enterprise learning and how to use it to improve management practices and systems. To specifically address this trend, Ambow CEO Dr. Huang Jin has put forth the “Revolutionizing learning, Achieving Excellence” theory to create an enterprise learning service resource platform for the new era.
Following the trend of increasing globalization, and the increasing competition among corporations of all size and type, domestic enterprises and foreign enterprises have already begun to compete on a more level playing field. Chinese companies need to have a more open outlook and international perspective, as well as create new enterprise learning and management systems, in order to reach their full potential on the world stage. As an international education platform, Ambow will provide enterprises with a leading learning model and management experience. According to the book “The Learning Revolution”, the only competitive advantage you can retain over your competitors is the ability to learn faster. In the market, companies must rely upon a strong learning ability and constant progress in order to be innovative and successful today and in the future. Ambow will always use an effective learning model to provide enterprises with an expert service solution, and deliver customized learning solutions tailored to each enterprise’s individual culture and development. Ambow hopes to lead the development of the China enterprise learning industry, and become one of the top enterprise learning education companies in China and the world.
