Ambow Receives Four Awards from NetEase Education

On November 2, 2009, NetEase Education Channel held the “NetEase Education 2009 Education Summit Meeting and Awards Ceremony” at Peking University. Ambow Education Group President and CEO Dr. Huang Jin accepted an award as a ”Top 10 Leader in the Education Industry”, and the Ambow Education Group won honors for “Top 10 Most Influential Education Company”, “Top 10 Company Improving Employment Competitiveness”, and “Top 10 Education Company with the Most Investment Value”.

The purpose of the meeting was to reflect on the overall direction of the education industry, consider investment opportunities, and create a platform to discuss new opportunities and initiatives in the industry. It also served to honor the contribution of certain outstanding individuals and companies within the industry, and to discuss ways to ensure the industry’s continual healthy growth and development.

During the meeting, Ambow Vice-president Dr. Huang Gang spoke about “The Intersection of Education and Capital” along with leading experts from both the education and investment worlds. Dr. Huang Gang explained that in order to receive approval and recognition from investors, the government, and a strong customer base, an education company has to grasp the development trends of the industry and never stop pushing to offer more innovative services. International capital can boost the internal management and service standardization of an education company and help in scaling operations.
