Ambow Software and Service Outsourcing Career Enhancement Center Established in Guangzhou

On April 9th in Beijing, the Guangzhou Nansha Development District signed a strategic partnership agreement with the Ambow Education Group Software Outsourcing Career Enhancement Center. Both parties will work together to establish an advanced software talent training and career enhancement center in Guangzhou’s Nansha Development District. Ambow (Guangzhou) Software and Service Outsourcing Career Enhancement Center has committed to training no less than 20,000 software and service outsourcing talent personnel in the first 5 years of operation, and hopes to realize resource sharing, facilitate the development of Guangzhou’s software industry, and help Guangzhou city improve its core competitiveness in the international market.

With regard to a strategic partnership with Guangzhou Nansha Development District’s management board, Ambow Education Group’s President Dr. Jin Huang states that Ambow hopes to collaborate to forge a high-end software talent training and career enhancement training center that will merge local talent strategies, push forward industry and academic cooperation, and drive the personalized professional development of both students and industry professionals. At the same time, Ambow is actively collaborating with Cisco, Microsoft, Apple, and other leading international corporations to use new ways of thinking and new resources to develop innovative education services, incorporate outstanding international resources, and fully grasp the synergies between regional education and regional economics, as well as establish a vocational education public service platform. These initiatives will allow students to become the recipients and beneficiaries of top-flight educational resources, and fundamentally help the Nansha Development District alleviate Guangzhou’s challenges of corporations being unable to find top talent and students being unable to find suitable employment.

The president of Ambow Education Group’s Vocational Training Department, Huang Guizhou, states that during the past few years, Ambow Education Group has established training foundations in Kunshan, Dalian, Tianjin, Changsha, and other places.  Ambow (Guangzhou) Software and Service Outsourcing Career Enhancement Center will model its operations off of Ambow (Kunshan) Service Outsourcing Industrial Park, which has been fully operational since 2008. The first phase of the center’s development will be the construction of a 10,000 square meters facility, which when fully operational will accommodate up to 5,000 students training simultaneously. After construction is finished, course offerings will include IT talent training, ordering and purchasing training, enterprise talent training, and both domestic and international advanced project management training.  Additionally, the Guangzhou Center’s training district, office district, and residential district will create an ecosystem that assembles top talent, projects, and corporations. The ultimate goal is to fulfill the mission of “Supported by the career enhancement training center, creating a vocational education alliance that facilitates and promotes regional education and serves the regional economy.”
