K-12 Products and Services

Ambow’s “Better Schools” programs cover grades K-12, focusing on primary and secondary degree programs as well as tutoring services which include test preparation. Our “Better Schools” programs are based in educational regional service hubs, with products and services customized to regional curriculum and individual students’ needs. One of our primary areas of focus is preparation for the senior high school and university entrance examinations, known as the Zhongkao and Gaokao, respectively. These examinations are critical in determining which students will be admitted into the top high school and university programs in China According to IDC, we were the largest Zhongkao and Gaokao tutoring services provider in China by annual revenue in 2008.

In addition to classroom-based teaching services, we offer web-based software to allow students access to tutoring services from any location at any time. Coupled with our proprietary Ambow Learning Engine technology, our web-based platform features comprehensive educational resources for primary and secondary school students. Our primary education products, branded under the name eBoPo (meaning “energy and impact” in Mandarin Chinese), offer leading online video classes, practice tests, and discussion forums for K-12 level students. The software and web-based applications complement our in-person classes and enable us to offer individualized services and tailored content based on each student’s specific needs.

We currently operate six primary and secondary schools and 96 tutoring centers, which are located in 15 educational regional service hubs across China. We will continue to leverage our resources to improve the quality of our education, build our brand and develop best-of-market tutoring centers equipped with top teachers that meet our highest standard as “A+” learning centers.
